  • Pub at Monte Carlo Resort and Casino June 20, 2010 2 Stars The place has changed since I went a year ago. Last time I went it was the Brew Pub, it concentrated on serving lots of beer for a relatively "cheap" (Vegas Standards). I usually split a beer tower with a friend or two and get wasted. Now this Pub is more like a traditionally restaurant. Hands-Down, the food was much better than before. My Wild Mushroom Swiss Burger was amazing: Toasted bun covered in mayo with perfectly cooked medium rare burger topped with lettuce, tomato, red onion, mushrooms, and cheese. However, THERE ARE NO MORE BEER TOWERS. Instead I got a $10 PINT OF DRAFT "SIGNATURE" IPA BEER. It was ridiculous, to put it in perspective, I got an Absolut® and Soda at the MGM Centrifuge Bar for $9. Word to wise, eat but don't drink at the "PUB" unless a ten dollar pint is up your alley.
