Unlike some of the other reviewers I thought the service was very good and just the right amount of friendly.
We started with a small Gyoza dumpling which featured a crispy pastry like outer wrapping rather than the boiled tender style that I prefer.
My wife clearly enjoyed her "arm sized" sushi roll but my order of teriyaki beef was a little disappointing. I would have preferred less steak but a higher quality cut that was more tender and a tad less teriyaki sauce that was more tasteful.
We will return for another go around this summer because Momiji is not that far from our home and based on other reviews it surely deserves another chance.
