  • What a neat place. We were bar hopping, so we stopped in for a beer. Great many on tap as well as in bottles. There are 3 parts to this place, the bar downstairs, where you can watch them make Pasties, the upstairs bar, where there is also darts and pool and the basement which doubles as a speak easy. We sat watching them make the Pasties (a folded pastry case with a savoury filling, typically of seasoned meat and vegetables) and I vowed to come back later during the week. Get the chance right before leaving for the airport and ordered the Pasty we watched them make. Wow, so delish! I ordered the meatball with buffalo mozzarella and basil. Yummy. Their potato, leek and stilton soup is also delish. Great place for food and drinks!
