  • Short Version: USE these movers!!! Stop looking, call and schedule right now. You'll be so happy you did. Long Version: I did a lot of research on movers before my relocation. I found Just-In Time Movers on Yelp.com about 4 weeks ahead of my expected move and was impressed with the reviews so I called to get some information. Andy was fantastic on the phone. He was patient with my many questions and since I can personally never have too much information, was SO happy that Andy was so forthcoming with all the details. He instantly calmed my concerns and apprehension--as all my moves prior had been quite stressful. I was planning to have them do all my packing and moving since I didn't have a lot of time (and it was a little extra gift to myself to have someone else pack for me this time). He offered for us to use their packing service, their boxes and packing material, but he also gave me an idea of how many boxes and rolls of tape would be needed since I wanted to supply all the materials, and already had lots of boxes. They would use up any of my materials for free before charging me to use theirs. I appreciate that he was offering to help me SAVE MONEY! He gave me all the time I needed on the phone and made me feel like the most important client during the call--deserving 100% of his attention until I was completely satisfied and ready to hang up. After talking with him I knew I would definitely book Just-In Time Movers. The major challenge was I didn't know when I would finally close on my new house, which had been through delay after delay, so I didn't have a date yet to schedule the movers. Andy calmly said to just let him know whenever we get our keys, as if this happens all the time. Just his relaxed nature and tone of voice was calming as my frustration level was rising with time running short for my closing. Jump forward in time several weeks... With only 3 days before we absolutely had to be out of our current house, and panic setting in, we got one hour's notice before our closing time at the title company, so as soon as we signed the docs late Thursday, I called Andy! Since I knew this was really short notice and not at all what I had planned on, I was relieved to hear that Just-In Time Moving could squeeze our move into their schedule with a little more than a days notice. They had us scheduled for 8am Saturday morning. The guys in the truck called to ask if it was okay if they arrived 15 minutes early. They were so polite and it was perfect because I wanted to get started right away. Chavez, Jesus and Gilberto arrived, took a quick tour of the house and got right to work. They were so careful, considerate and helpful. They mentioned that I may want to turn my heat off so that I wasn't wasting money with all the doors open. They unhooked my appliances and loaded them. Also, they pointed out some damage to my wooden kitchen table before they moved it. I appreciated their being so detailed and aware of my things. The damage was from a previous move. Wish I had known about Just-In Time Movers sooner. There was NO damage to either house nor to any of my things during this move--not even my most fragile large-sized statue. They treated me like family and they took care of my things as if they had been their own. They covered/protected the entry way at my new house...rolled out the red carpet for me! They had my house loaded and unloaded quickly but without making me feel pushed or rushed to finish my little details. They were happy to hook up my appliances and move the furniture to just where I wanted it. They were so attentive and didn't waste any time. I appreciate when people hustle, and they were never careless. They moved a 3-bedroom, 1600 sq foot house with lots of stuff quickly. From the moment they arrived to having the truck completely unloaded at our new place took about 4.25 hours. At the end, I was almost sad to see them go. I wanted to buy them lunch after the great job they did. When it came time to complete the bill, there were no hidden charges or unexpected last minute fees. It came to just under $600 with the trip charge and it was SO WORTH IT! Just knowing the level of service they provided, I would pay it again in a heartbeat. They provided such a value and I'm glad I hired a 3-man crew for my move. The time it saved was worth the little bit of extra money. My previous move with a different company cost me more than double that, and when I pointed out the damages, they basically shrugged and told me to deal with it. Like I said, wish I'd known about Just-In Time Movers before. I will never go with someone else again. I tipped each of the guys as they left, and if I'd had more cash on me, I would have given them more. Outstanding Customer Service like this is hard to find. All in all, the moving part of my whole house buying process was the only stress-free part! I can't thank them enough for an easy move!
