| - First, I never leave posts, but I'm so ticked off. I scheduled an appointment online through the PetSmart site and it allowed me to create an appointment for today at 2pm with an email confirmation. I also filled out the forms after going through the process. I show up for my appointment, right on time, and they tell me I'm not scheduled or in the system. "Wait", I say in frustration. "I scheduled the appointment online."
"Yea, that schedules you for a couple day out."
"No" I reply, "It let me schedule for today at 2pm. See here, the confirmation."
"That's doesn't mean you have an appointment", was the careless response from behind the counter.
"You mean to tell me your system allows me to make an appointment for today at 2pm, send a confirmation, yet it's still NOT an appointment!" Meanwhile my dog has a UTI and should get looked at and some antibiotics. You can understand that I'm getting a little upset.
"I guess", came the response. There was no cause for concern, or let me help you, or one moment while I see if we can't fit you in, or let me check in back. He didn't care and even though he was a kid who probably worked part-time, it was apparent the Vets and managers he worked for could care less also.
"So. I CAN'T get an appointment until Tuesday? That's what you're telling me."
"We have no openings until Tuesday.", was the response.
I crumpled my vet info papers up, threw them on the desk and said, "You better tell your superiors to get your damn online scheduling system fixed!" and walked out.
It's Sunday, I have to schedule with someone else for next week as nothing else is open.
I'm not mad at the kid. Just pissed off that they have an online scheduling system that is online for nothing but looks. What a joke!
