Went in for service on my Jeep, the service rep was courteous. I received 3 software updates on my jeep which came to $208.00. So basically $70 an update.
Here my real concern, I was told my battery was bad and they offered to replace it for over $200. I just had a brand new battery installed less than two years ago so in told them no. I then took it to two places to have the battery checked and possibly warrantied out and the battery tested fine at both locations. See pic
I'm hoping it's just that Desert 215 Superstore had a bad tester. Just a warning to others to double check your batteries if they say you need a new one.
A certain Chevy dealership in town was under investigation for replacing batteries that didn't need replacement and charging for them.
