  • Recently stayed here for 3 nights. I arrived at 11:00pm, so the wait at check-in was not bad. I probably waited 10 minutes. I saw the line the next day during the afternoon and there was at least 100 people waiting. So if you come in the afternoon and not an upper MLife member, prepare to wait. I consider this hotel a budget strip motel, so do not expect a 5 star hotel. I booked a royal preferred king room. I was a little disappointed they put me on the 2nd floor, but getting downstairs was quick. Also, I did not plan for being in the room much, I am only there to shower, sleep, and shit. Room was relatively clean. It was not immaculate, but it was not filthy. Bed was a little on the soft side (I prefer more of a stiff mattress), the pillows were a little to fluffy (I prefer more of a flat pillow). Air conditioner was a little noisy, but kept the room cool. There was a constant noise happening, kind of like being in an airplane during flight. It was not coming from the room itself, but it did bother me the first night. Water pressure was a joke, I feel sorry for anybody with thick long hair. House keeping was there daily and replaced all towels and soaps. Wi-Fi was OK, seemed at little spotty at times, but I was just checking e-mails and not trying to stream anything. Self parking is $8.00 per day (I know people are upset about it). When you first arrive you get a ticket at the gate, but then use your room key to get in and out. Parking was charged to my room. I did not use valet parking. There is a designated Uber and Lyft pick-up and drop-off point. Casino looked clean. I am not much of a gambler, as I live next to two Indian casinos and able to gamble when I want. Everyone I encountered was friendly. Yes, this is an older hotel. Like most casino's people are allowed to smoke. It does not bother me, but expect it. It is not as bad as it was, say 20 years ago. Ventilation seemed pretty good. Your in sin city not Disney land. There is a variety of food shops, but expect the higher Vegas strip prices. Easy access to NYNY and Luxor casinos. I did not use the pool and I did not use the tram. Would I recommend this hotel? If your on a budget, want to stay on the strip, and not expecting 5 star resort with Michelin rated restaurants. Well then you can try your luck here. Will I stay here again? I don't know yet, I will check out other options, but I would not mind staying here again.
