  • For pub food, this place is excellent, with a very impressive and extensive menu. If I were ranking just pub style restaurants, the Dane would get 4 stars but it is hard to do that with the likes of True and L'Etoile around. Many of the choices are very unique as well to the typical bar and reasonably priced. The beer, of course, is delish with a standard range from the German Pils to its Stout. They also have cask seasonals which are very tasty. I have been patronizing the Dane for years and will continue to do so. A bonus is the wait staff and bartenders are generally beautiful.
