To be honest, I'm pretty picky with Italian cuisine just because I've grown up with amazing homemade fair from my Italian American family.
Pros:
1. Noodles were al dente and tasted fresh
2. Huge menu with lots of specials
3. Large portions at a decent price
Cons:
1. Table bread tasted like old hot dog buns
2. Service was slow (but friendly)
3. Pasta had a decent flavor but nothing I'd dream about getting in the future.
4. There! Were! Exclamation! Points! Everywhere! It was a little discombobulating -- from the signs on the doors to information on the menu. Someone is either very angry or very enthusiastic. Or both?
With so many other culinary options in Madison, I'd be hardpressed to venture here on the regular.
