| - Asian foot spas, they're on every corner now-a-days. What makes this one better than the others?
**but first if you've never been to a "foot spa/ reflexology" place before...
its not a real reflexology session. its not a "massage" but they get away with massaging without massage licenses by preforming "reflexology" which isn't regulated.
for the most of these places you will sit in a dark room, either totally not private or semi private, in a cheap version on a lay-z-boy chair that reclines to be totally flat like a bed. You will start sitting, soak feet while semi reclined, get head and hands massaged, then feet dried, bowl of water removed, feet massaged, then the chair will be fully reclined, you flip over and get a back massage.
now on to why I think best foot spa is the best.
1. Several semi private rooms, I think theres 4 or 6... each has 2 or 3 chairs... its nice when I go with my hubby... They also seem to have a preference to put small groups into these rooms in spaces allow.
2. They offer different packages... Its 22 (as the door advertises) for 15 min back and the rest spaced out on there rest of the body... Theres also 36 for 30 min back.
I prefer the former... And I usually ask for no back at all... as any girl over a C cup will attest to... We need a whole set up to lay on our tummies... I also don't really like it... Its lots of elbows and rubbing on bones rather than a spa massage (you know with that licensed masseuse who's trained on where muscles originate and attach)
So don't be afraid to tell them what you want
3. Its mostly quiet... they're really good on shushing people who are gabbing with friends too loudly.
4. Add hot stones for 4 bucks.
5. Just a generally better experience... I never feel them rushing, or that they seem uninterested, like many others I've been to!
