Summary: Horrible Lunch Buffet (NEVER EVER TRY!!) but good dinner.
I had been to this lunch buffet with my friends and all of were disappointed and is a utter waste of money. Believe it or not, we were the only customers for them for Lunch. We went to lunch around noon and saw the place was almost dead with nobody else around. We were the only ones who had tried the lunch buffet that day and we saw no customers at all (leaving or entering the place).
+ve:
1. Medu Vada and Palak Panneer
2. South and North Indian combination
3. Courteous Service
4. Dinner A-la-carte
-ve: (All of them for Lunch Buffet)
1. The food was cold. The Tandoori chicken was cold and not even warm. It looked like they had re-served the old food from the previous day. More reasons to believe as we were the only customers for lunch buffet. What will they they do with all the food they cooked.. definitely not throw away, but re-use ;-). The Samabar, rasam, idli was all cold .. not even warm. The same goes for other curries too.
2. The butter chicken was salty, and chicken curry was awful. The vegetable curry looked like they just threw in the deep frozen mixed vegetables from the freezer into a watery paste and threw it into the buffet tray.
3. They had option of Regular or Garlic Naan Bread and we chose Garlic Naan .. which was again not up to the mark. It did not taste good either.
4. Lunch Menu entrees were too few compared to any other indian restaurant. The food was un-inviting.
5. There was only one desert and that was Gulaab Jamoon which tasted OK and also was un-inviting.
6. My friend had a tea and they charged 1.99 for that along with the lunch buffet. Almost every indian buffet's have tea included in the menu.
I had been to this place for "DINNER" with my family and friends before and this place had some uniqueness in flavors even though a bit pricey and lesser portions.
However the verdict is "NEVER EVER TRY THE LUNCH BUFFET"
