My heart will always go to Y2 yoga but OM yoga comes in second.
They're different from other yoga places in that they don't have mirrors so that you won't be able to care about how you look. Personally, I like mirrors because it allows me to modify my poses and beautify it.
They have one large room that fills (I think) 25-30 people. Two windows and a large picture in front of the room.
Truthfully when I first came to this studio I wasn't impressed. After a few classes, you start to pick out the teachers you like and they make the experience much more enjoyable. My favorite teachers are Maria, Stacy and Sherri. If you're new to the studio, try classes with those teachers. They are better indicators of what the studio is about (both spiritually and physically rewarding).
I love to sweat and I love a good workout. But yoga is also about the spiritual side. Each class starts off with a 2-5min reflection "speech" by the teachers. They're very enjoyable if you close your eyes and listen to what they have to say. You'll be surprised by some of things they say (in a good way). I learned a lot from those classes.
They have a new student discount: unlimited month for 55.00 dollars! The only way to fully try out a studio is try it out for a month or else it's just like hitting the lottery.
