  • This was the worst experience ever! I bought a bridesmaid's dress for $150. I was sized at David's Bridal, and when the dress came in was told that I would need to spend $260 worth on alterations. I did so and the alterations were done horribly. The dress was taken up at the top of my shoulders unevenly. This left the armpits different sizes. On top of one shoulder there's a big lump of material that was folded over that can be seen easily. Again this was uneven with the top of the other shoulder. The alterations were done very poorly and David's Bridal refuses to do anything to correct them. I contacted David's Bridal's corporate offices and sent them emails and pictures. They have not bothered to reply back other than the initial email from them saying they received my email. Do not buy anything from David's Bridal. They are poor, shady, money-making operation. They are in no way concerned about their customers' satisfaction. Think twice brides before you deal with this business! They are in no way a cheaper alternative since they make you order SUPER large so that they can make money on alterations. BEWARE!
