Ummm. No. We have normally always gone to YCs, but figured we would try this place as it is closer to our house. we will continue going back to YCs! This place was very pricey (almost $14 for adult bowl... $12 for my kids bowls), the meats were thawed and really it just wasn't great. The meat being thaw is the worst, slopping around raw chicken and beef is gross... especially as everyone in front of and behind you is slopping all the juice everywhere. The sauces were extremely thick like BBQ sauce and the bowls (we had 4 between all of us) all generally lacked flavor. We found out that they cook the food and add the sauce at the very end. So.. essentially it's cooked in water and then sauce of your choice splashed on after for a little flavor. It tasted as such, it sucked. They have impeccable portion control as they don't allow you any access to the noodles and the bowls for veggies and meat are tiny. Most Mongolian places constantly stir the food on super high heat, this place dumps your food on the grill with 10 other people's and mostly lets it sit until cooked. So I had burned meat in my bowl. YCs is hands down better. I can only imagine the people on here who claim this place is better than YCs must be drawing a paycheck from genghis grill. We were actually a little mad after eating, we won't be back. Pros- place was clean lol.
