  • Being from an area in the country where sushi is on every street corner, and knowing fresh sushi, I have had the hardest time finding decent sushi in the Charlotte area. Finally!! Sushi at the Lake proved to be worth the drive. Yes, they are pricey compared to what I am used too. But good sushi is hard to find in this area. With out real competition they can charge more. The fish tasted fresh. Most places I had been to in the CLT area the fish tasted frozen, without benefit of a baggie. It had that nasty pre-freezer burn taste and feel. I truly enjoyed it and can't wait to go back.
