  • The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a great place to spend an afternoon even if you are not a fan of "rock and roll" music. The museum entrance fee is pretty well priced to many other tourist attractions in other cities that are not as well done, plus it offers a wonderful view of the lake during the summer. The Hall exhibits start on the ground floor and it has the big guns such as Elvis, the Beatles, Michael Jackson, and even a few hip hop artist tributes. Going up you will find dedicated sections to Jimi Hendrix and other music greats. I'm not as familiar with many of the artists I saw since it was a little before my time and I'm more of a pop/hip-hop kinda guy when it comes to music but I was still very pleased and happy that I stopped by. The top floors are rotating exhibits and currently it's a display of music in Politics since this is an election year. There are also a few films always being shown with HoF inductees and their induction ceremony which is great for people like me who are not the biggest Rock and Roll fans. Yes there's an original iPod in this "museum" next to exhibits such as 8-track tapes, CDs, and the Sony Walkman ... boy do I feel old.
