  • Meh... My wife and I made the mistake of going to their range on a Sunday, when every tourist in Las Vegas was also there to shoot a machine gun. It may as well have been Disneyland, the line was so long. The range staff seemed so skittish about locals bringing their own guns and ammo. I can understand being careful, but two of them actually JUMPED when I touched my own .38. Come on guys... Think about it. If a guy brings in his own gun, chances are he knows how to handle it, so relax. You are not cops either, so stop acting like I'm a criminal looking to shoot you. I can also understand why they insist on lead-free frangible ammo at the range. But that just drives up the cost of shooting there. If one wishes to make a living being a tourist trap, I guess dealing with noobs comes with the territory. But, this local is going to stick with American Shooters or Discount Firearms. Better yet, I'll just go out to the desert, where I can shoot for free.
