  • I got mislead by all these people giving 5 stars for a freebie dim sum dish. The place is ok. Service much better than the one that went out of business in its place. It's not any better than Orchid Garden. My favorite place remains the one in Gold Coast....favorite among the ones available in LV. None of them are that great. If they have good food then the service sucks. If they have good service then the food sucks. I am not sure why one of the popular ones from LA have not opened shop here. We ordered quite a bit of the usual stuff and the price came out to be less than $30 for 2. I am perplexed by why they make you go to the counter for regular items like chive dumplings and egg custard tarts. Those are regular fare. The items on the heated trays should be for take outs or maybe specialized items but no one wants to get out of their seat to get some items while some are wheeled around in the cart. It's seems counter intuitive to me. They do come by with trays selling fried items that normally are not good sellers though. I think management needs to rearrange the way they set things up. Manager was nice and pointed things out to us but I will probably not be back. There's really nothing to make me want to come back. I wish them luck though. I am not the type to yelpitute myself for a free item. I am annoyed I fell into the trap and went because I thought all those stars meant a good one opened up. Too good to be true.
