  • Helena has been my tailoring companion for over a decade (I call her "mama" now). I first met her when I was a personal shopper and stylist to high net worth clients. In that industry, you need a partner who can quickly understand and meet a client's needs, and work with a variety of fabrics. Helena set the standard when it comes to client interactions (she's extremely gracious and accommodating) and her craft (she knows each fabric's character and how it fits nearly every body type). Every client was always pleased--to the point where I had out of state clients flying in to get Helena's services. As a corporate working professional now, I have become a loyal client myself. She customizes my suits and pants...and one time she noticed a loose button on the shirt I was wearing and she quickly "stitched" me up as I was talking to her! It's that kind of attention to detail that makes her wonderful. I love that she continuously learns my evolving tastes and style...and ensures every piece I give her fits me and my preferences. There is no other person I'd recommend as a tailoring companion!
