  • Decided to give Marquee a try for EDC weekend. I was excited to hear that Dash Berlin was going to be at Marquee on Day 2! My date and I bought tickets early, it only cost me about $20, which is great. I didn't want to stress about guestlist, because I understood there was a cut-off by 1pm, and I wasn't sure if my date and I could even make it to the line in time by then. I'm glad we bought our tickets because they sold out pretty early. The line to Marquee was pretty long but it moves pretty fast. We were in line by about 1:30pm and made it inside by 1:45pm. It wasn't bad at all. They do check your bag, no liquids or outside food are allowed, not even water. The dayclub itself is smaller than other dayclubs I've been to, the pool here is definitely smaller, but it's still able to fit a ton of people. The cabanas and tables were pretty packed and extremely close together, so it's a little hard to pass through to the lockers. There isn't much of a walkway because everyone's drunk and dancing everywhere, it's a lot of fun. The lockers are $40 to rent for an entire day. I thought it was a reasonable rate, because it also comes with a charging dock, so you can charge your phone while being in the pool. Restrooms are located right beside the lockers as well. It's think the location is pretty convenient. The dancefloor isn't really that huge here, but there's definitely some bit of space to dance. The tiled floors reflect sunlight so it gets really hot. I always try to get in the pool as soon as I can. I don't recommend the pool for Germophobes, it is kind of gross, but if you're drunk enough you can definitely ignore the fact you're sharing it with hundreds of other people. Once Dash Berlin was out, the crowd was wild. I even got to stand kind of close to him while passing through from the restroom. The dancefloor only got more and more crowded towards closing. My date and I ordered a Jameson and Coke, double shot. It was about $30 for the drink, definitely pricey but it hit the spot. We were drunk and just having a blast in the pool. Singing all of Dash Berlin's songs and splashing water at everyone. You will eventually get wet, no matter how hard you might try to avoid it. I'd say just jump in the water and enjoy it! It's Vegas! I had a great time at Marquee Day Club. It's definitely smaller than other Dayclubs, but I was very lucky to be here during EDC weekend. I know it's definitely more crowded on other weekends. Locker rentals are decent, but be careful when you bring in towels. They didn't let me bring my towel back to my hotel, even though it was mine. I didn't really care so much, but still felt appropriate to address it. I wouldn't mind coming back for another pool party soon!
