rev:text	My boyfriend and I needed to rent a house for a year. The location was undesirable, but knew that going into the lease and not invitation homes' fault. The rent was also high for the area and only increased when they wanted us to lease for another year. Everyone has been pleasant to work with and respond quickly. They buy houses for cheap and only have so much money to renovate. What you see during the walk through is what you get- for us, the kitchen cabinets were a mess, the fence was one strong wind from being blown over, and the bathroom shower tiles were gross. We took photos of everything, just in case they tried to pin any issues on us. One minor issues is during the walk through the guy said they needed to fix the garage door opener- and invitation homes would send out a contracted agency to fix it. However invitation homes did not send out a contracted agency but their own people, who took one look at the garage and said the need to send it to a contracted agency. I was able to cancel the repair request because we were doing the big move and garage would be filled with storage by the time they could get an appointment with an agency and we weren't going to move all of our stuff. About three months ago we had a bee issue, I filled out the maintenance request and the next day someone came out and the issue was resolved. Prior to moving out we had a walk through and they told us what to address so we get our full security deposit. We did almost everything they requested, which was clean the house, get the carpets professionally cleaned, and do the yard work. We gave our best effort on the yard, but It was hot and we gave up. They charged us $105 to landscape, and we got the rest of our deposit.
