I brought our Toyota Tacoma to the Toyota dealership to get an oil change and have a slow-leak looked at for one of the tires.
Toyota told us that there were three nails closely embedded and the tire could not be fixed. I would have to buy a new tire at over $250.00.
I told them I needed to shop around for that tire.
I brought the truck to Big O on Power Road and asked them to check the tire. They repaired the tire within the hour and charged me $16.99.
When I asked about how many nails were in the tire explaining what Toyota had told me, the man checking me out went back to double check on the tire condition.
He came back with the tip of a screw head and said this is all that was in the tire. There were also two small slashes that did not go into the tire too much and so they did not affect the use of the tire. The tire was fixed and I was on my way with $230.00 still in my bank account.
Thank you Big O for your honest service. You've earned a new customer.
