| - Awesome Italian food, and I know what Italian food should taste like. They're part Sicilian, and I enjoy their Sicilian dishes. Took my gal there some time ago, and they put on some drinks on the house for her b-day, no charge. The owners are on hand, and I can tell you he makes delicious gelato and spumoni, good old Italian recipe.
The service is closer to impeccable than the Phoenician, and vastly superior to the Hyatt or Hilton. Come to think of it, if you're into being pampered, they'll do it for you. Forgot to mention, don't go there if you're looking for much intimacy, as the place is so packed with tables and chairs, you may have to take to flying to navigate. Sardines get to have more room than that place does.
I recommend getting reservations, unless you want to watch others eat while waiting for a table to open. Make sure you fill your wallet before you make the drive, this place isn't cheap, but definitely worth the while for that special occasion. Wish other 'Italian' places in the Valley would take a moment and bring a notebook to figure out what 'Italian food' really means. If you're looking for the genuine article, look no further!
