| - Baseball brings a community together. I always liked baseball and one of fun ways to spend on the road during the summer is to visit ball park as many as possible. I usually buy home team t-shirts and hat and cheer for a home team to enjoy a game and atmosphere.
On this particular day I visited the Chase Field, they didn't fail to deliver great game, fun atmosphere and brought the community together.
They were giving out D-backs T-shirts to the first 5,000 moms, so we arrived around 10:50am to wait in line. When we showed up, there were about 150 already waiting. While we were waiting, one of the players came out to greet us. I thought it was such nice gesture, although I didn't know who he was I appreciated the fact he came out to talk to some of us waiting for a long time for gates to open.
Gates opened at 11:30am for 1:10pm game. They were very organized to give out the T-shirts, they made it easy for us. They had size L and XL at the gates, and they told us to go near the section 145 to exchange to other size M or XXL. They had plenty of staff on the ground to make the process very smooth. Thank you D-Backs for the nice T-shirts. I proudly wore them during the game.
I like the way they organized and bring the 20,000 plus crowds together to cheer for the home team. It takes a lot of baseball loving staff to run a game in the way so organized.
On Sunday, kids get to run the base, but on Mother's Day, Moms get to run the base too! Once a year event, and I always enjoy running the base with the kids. Great way to spend Mother's Day!
