It's hard to ignore a company that has five stars average on Yelp. My situation:
Purchased a brand new windshield replacement last Thursday. Saturday, I get my first chip/crack (literally wasn't even a full week). Today (Thursday) the technician comes to repair. Unfortunately, there is liability with the repair since the chip/crack was too close to the edge of the windshield - either leave it to crack, repair it and risk more damage and thus having to pay for a full replacement (which would suck!) A quick call to customer service a few minutes later, and SafePro Auto glass recommended the best practice, explained the science between the resin replacement and that they would stand by the warranty in case it does expand and break.
There's situations where as a company, you've got to follow protocols and rules to maintain consistency, quality and order. However, considering this was under 7 days of installation, they stood by and did the right thing for the customer, in my particular case. Thanks Pete and team!
