Lowes charged for a "Lead test" & measurement & uses Romano. The guy didn't test for lead (house built in 1880), did a couple quick measurements & said that the cut outs from one room(cutout around a small powder room) could be used to fill in for a section that needed spliced in an 18X16 ft room. He would do this in his calculations. He didn't. Got the estimate from Lowes that required 72 more sq.ft ($275) than necessary. Went to Lowes & showed them drawings of how the cutout if used would require no extra splicing than what was already figured and told them I wasn't ready to throw $275 worth of carpeting away because the installer was too lazy to do simple math. They agreed & said Romano would be back within 48 hrs to recheck. One week later, no Romano. Cancelled order & fought with Lowes for a full refund for Lead test & measurement.
