  • So I have thick, curly-verging-on-kinky hair. I love it, but knew I needed some shape. I hadn't had my hair professionally cut in about 10 years because other salons could only cut it when it was straight. No thank you! I did a search online and this place came highly recommended for us curly girls. I called and made my appointment which was immediately followed by a lovely email reminding me to wear my hair down and styled so that it could be cut in its natural shape. Love that! Now the shop itself is busy because they're pretty damned popular. Plus there's a hairless cat and an absolutely adorable (but huge) dog running around. But none of that mattered to me because Kelly cut my hair beautifully. We talked about what I wanted (accompanied by pics from online as inspiration) and she started cutting. It was just what I needed! It took a couple of days for me to get used to it, but I knew it was a winner. They really understand how to work with all textures of hair, but finding a place that can bring out the magic in curls is worth its weight in gold. I've finally found a salon!
