| - The Wow factor is the huge deal here in at Rolled Ice Cream...especially for those who haven't' seen the process of the rolling of the ice-cream of your choice right in front of your eyes...They chop, mix and roll. My young companies thoroughly enjoyed it and I got a cool factor badge from them for bring teenagers here to cool down their tongues after their yummy lunch at the Buldogis Gormet Hotdogs.
There are 3 frozen stations and we were lucky enough to have "Chika" as our ice-cream maker today, who has been rolling since their opening, and is very friendly, super fast with her work, and engaging.
Our party ordered "Rasberry White Chocolate" and "Green Tea" both in large. When we walked in, the line was a little depressingly long, but it moved fairly quickly. Watching Chika chopping and rolling was very (yes, I said very) fasinating....i'm sure she has killer biceps and triceps as a result. We are all suckers for fresh ingredients...if it was called fresh_______, we felt almost no guilt gulping up the dessert. The Green Tea came with two Pokey sticks, which was my childhood snack...while the Raspberry White Chocolate was, of course, made with frozen Rasberries and White chocolate.
There are only two tables inside, so unless you are going somewhere with it, then really you have a choice to sit outside...today, this sin city heat was over 90 degrees...it was so hot and we were all wishing some cool air. They really should consider putting some misters outside considering there are not many seats inside...just suggesting.
As I mentioned, the wow factor is huge, and this wouldn't be my go-to place for the dessert, but it was success today for my young future Yelpers who took many videos and pictures.
