I went here for Winter Restaurant week 2018 because I have never been here before. I made a reservation and was glad that I did because the wait time for a Friday evening was an hour. We walked right in and was seated immediately. The ambiance is nice and cozy. The lights were dim and we had a table where we could see out into the city, so the view was nice too! The hostess gave us both the regular menu and the restaurant week menu, which i was happy about.
For an appetizer, i got the charred endive salad. My friend got a scotch egg and beet salad (not on the restaurant week menu but i highly recommend trying it). For our entree, we both got the filet with polenta and mushrooms. And for dessert, we got the creme brûlée. The presentation of the food was beautiful!
I am giving Andrew's 4 stars for a couple of reasons. First, our appetizers came out very quickly, but we waited a good while for our dinner to come out. Also, we both asked for our filets to be medium rare, but our steaks came out basically moo-ing. It was more rare as opposed to medium rare.
But overall, i would visit Andrew's again. The service was great and the food had good flavor.
