| - All in all, it's nice to have another fully fenced off leash area in the city. There's a parking lot, which is a bonus so you're not struggling for a spot. It wasn't busy when we happened along, but it was also a bit windy, and muddy as the snow was melting (yes, in February?!). The park's fairly large, which is nice.
However, the scenery is lacking a bit - for most of the walk, you're staring at the 22x, which isn't exactly exciting. Also, the park is missing trees and bushes... you know, the things that make a park a park. It's pretty plain and I can't see it being much more exciting during the summer.
But the main reason why this park only gets 2 stars? All the poop. I couldn't believe it. Of all the parks I've been to this month (and, ever) this was by far the worst. We had to be looking at the ground at all times in order to avoid stepping on anything. C'mon people - the city provides a nice park at which to walk man's best friend and you can't even bother to stoop & scoop?
