I have to say, I'm extremely surprised by the mixed reviews here. We went this Saturday night and had a simply amazing time.
The location throws you off a bit but once you enter, you're transported into such a quaint and beautiful restaurant.
I have TWO complaints:
1) A lot of the entrees are served with fries. I get the throw back, but I don't want fries with my rack of lamb.
2) There are TOO many menus! It's a very stressful situation trying to find out what coursing to do etc. I think there must be a way to make it easier.
One of us ordered from the $40 menu which is four courses. The other two of us ordered from the $80 menu. I also added a cup of French onion soup because I really felt I wanted to try it. It was very tasty! We had escargot, fois gratis, rack of lamb, braised lamb shank, filet mignon, chocolate mousse, creme brûlée and the Grand Mariner Soufflé. Everything was so tasty! The meal starts with fresh vegetables, bread and Dijon vinaigrette. It also comes with an olive and anchovy paste which was so good and different!!!
