| - I am a Las Vegas local, and my boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights for our third anniversary. Booking and check in were effortless, and our room was ready for us upon arrival.
The room was clean, and despite a slight lingering odor I have no complaints. Our suite came with a kitchenette (though according to the website I was under the impression that it was a full kitchen) with a mini fridge, single unit stovetop, and microwave. Strangely, we found a kettle and two glasses in the cabinets but no silverware or dishes at all. We ended up ordering room service and asking for extra forks.
The bathroom was gorgeous and we really enjoyed the rain shower and jacuzzi tub. The bed was comfortable and the AC ran ice cold which is a redeeming quality in the desert heat. There isn't much to do around here, though restaurants are within walking distance at Palms Casino and a little shopping plaza in the other direction. The Palms Place pool is a good spot to hang out.
The payments are charged to your account in a weird way, and even though it's supposedly a $250 "no partying" deposit fee for locals, they didn't charge me that amount. I watched random amounts of money get taken out by the hotel and credited back, but eventually only the amount I owed was taken and it was fine.
If you want a place to kick back and relax in, Palms Place is a good value for the money. It's not fancy, but it's quiet and comfortable.
