Was considering purchasing a used Asko brand compact stackable washer dryer set. Had some specific service-related questions about these machines. Asko customer service referred me to Tri City Appliance because Tri City is my local Phoenix certified Asko service tech and Asko's customer service didn't have any relevant experience. Was told by the woman who answered Tri City's number that they are indeed Asko certified technicians. However, she said "There's no one here who knows about these machines and there's no one who could call you back that knows anything about the machines. It's just us office girls here." The tech's may be great but I wouldn't use this company because it is evidently impossible to speak with a tech on the phone. Not sure what I would do if I had them repair something and then I had a follow up question. I would not use them based on this experience.
I then called Affordable Appliance, who had serviced my old Frigidaire washer / dryer set. Left a message and the owner, Don, called me back within 15 minutes, easily answered all my questions, and took extra time to educate me on some basic maintenance knowledge relevant to front loaders vs top loaders.
