  • Porter was an ideal company for all my business travels... up until today. When your flight doesn't get cancelled and you don't lose your luggage, the company is great... but aren't they all? Original flight: 10AM fromToronto Rescheduled flight: 12PM Arrival time: 1PM in Montreal Did they contact me? NO Was I annoyed at first? No What happened next? They lose my luggage! How was their customer service? Porter does not care about their customers... well at least not the one in Montreal. The Agent in Montreal blamed the Agent in Toronto for being incompetent and that "it was not (their) fault that the Toronto Agent misplaced (my) luggage"... The last I remembered, Porter is one company. They supposedly located my luggage and it was to arrive at 2:45pm. Then I was told that it would actually arrive at 4:15pm. Then the time was changed again to 3:45pm. They said they would call me when it arrives but that it was recommended that I stayed at the airport. I asked for them to deliver my luggage to the hotel since I had to work and they informed me they couldn't guarantee a time. Where was the Supervisor? I asked for a Supervisor and they told me that she was too busy to come by to the counter. She never came. What happened when I raised my voice stating that they company was incompetent and lacked customer service? They threatened to call security on me b/c I was bad-mouthing the company and other customers who were behind me can hear me. Conclusion: I ended up waiting for another hour and went down to where the luggage carousal was... and there was my luggage on a cart... no one ever did call me to inform me that the luggage arrived on an earlier flight, after my orginal flight. No mediocre latte is worth the stress and poor customer service I experienced with PORTER. I will never fly with them again.
