I went in for regular service a few days ago and felt that one of the service reps misled me. I don't know a lot about cars in general, so I am wary that car service reps can take advantage of me. The service rep told me that two of my filters needed replaced, and I relied on that representation and agreed, only to find out after googling that the air filters should've been fine for another year/15,000 miles at least. The service rep also suggested another issue and when I challenged it, the rep got defensive. My grandpa is a mechanic and he said he'd never heard of needing to do what the service rep suggested.
I would have given a 1-star review except the Service Manager made an incredible effort to figure out why I felt misled and fix it. He was calm and kind, never got defensive, and took the time to explain everything to me. He apologized for what had happened and when I needed to return for another issue, he accommodated my work schedule and went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with the service. He is probably the only reason I'll go back.
