This is difficult to deal with even 5 months later as anyone who has had a loved one die. My mother's ashes were sent by the US mail as that is the only way ashes can be transported. Unfortunately, the postal service doesn't track their shipments the way UPS or Fed Ex does. So once it gets in the postal system, it is lost until delivered and no way to find out why it is so delayed. The ashes took 10 days to get to Chicago. Palm would only keep saying it wasn't their responsiblilty any more every time I called and asked what was going on. They were totally unhelpful.
Now, I can finally get the death certificates and close out all the accounts I thought. Of course Palm wrote my address incorrectly, not paying attention to detail. So what else did they do incorrectly that I DON'T know about? How do I know I even got the correct ashes????
