As TTS approaches it First Birthday, I definitely need to update my review. The menu has changed twice since the opening days. There is now food from SideCar served in the candlelit room. Drinks have been bumped up a notch and although the bar isn't entirely the social meeting place I hoped for, it is a place for people serious about their alcohol. I've been to a few of the invited tastings- one where bartenders from all over TO (Drake hotel and Bar Chef) came to make a cocktail inspired by the new St. Germain liquour. Wow- that event knocked my socks off!
My new favorite drink is the Jalapeno-infused mescal muddle. Spicy and sweet, with a kick of alcohol. Follow it with the Cilantro Mule (still available on special request) and you've got a mexican party in your mouth. Now, you are ready for a burrito downstairs...
