| - Went for AYCE lunch today. $22/pp. Was there with 6 others. I gotta say that I have eaten AYCE in many places and in many states, and this by far is rated at the bottom of my list. The only reason for 2 stars is good service from the waiter, and good green tea ice cream. Sometimes the ice cream can be a turnoff too, but not here. The fish was horribly fishy and tasted old. I grew up on an island and know fish pretty well...this fish thumbs down. I had tuna, salmon, octopus, albacore, and the treasure. I had to choke it down. Under normal circumstances, I would have 3-4 rolls, and about 10 orders of nigiri, with sides of apps.
When I arrived, I was not greeted by any staff, but was looked at by about 5 of them. I was standing right by the "Wait to be seated" sign, and nothing. Nothing from even the sushi chefs (who also looked right at me.) I even had 2 staff walk in right pass me coming to work I guess.
I am told that they have another restaurant on Sahara/Tenaya. Well sorry to say, I will not be going to either one. If you are in the area and need sushi, go to 808 Sushi or SOHO. Better food and better prices.
