  • Started going here 2 years ago because we didn't live too far and must I say the quality has plummeted! This place used to be my go to place, but not after today. Now I'm willing to cross the city for a good QUALITY car wash. Walked in with the $3.00 Yelp off coupon, that says $3.00 off (Gold-Platinum-Diamond washes). I showed the cashier my phone for the Yelp coupon for a Gold wash, but her register wasn't taking the coupon. She manually took off the $3.00 since she said that it worked for other people before. The total was now only 20.99 versus 23.99. I took a seat and waited for my car. Then the lady came up to me after 5 min. and told me that she wasn't allowed to take off the $3.00 for the Gold carwash (only for the Platinum or Diamond wash) even though it was clearly stated on the coupon. I didn't want to entertain an argument for $3.00, so I gave her $3.00 extra for the Platinum wash. After triple checking the coupon to make sure it said $3.00 off, I told and showed the lady that it clearly said that on Yelp and she just gave me some answer about how it worked for the other 2 car washes and none of it didn't make any sense to me. Therefore, Alamo Hand Car Wash fix your advertising on Yelp!!! Lastly, I noticed they replaced a lot of the workers here with much younger employees. After the wash, I inspected my car and was pretty disappointed. The front bumper was still masked with built up dirt and bugs. Also, I still had to wipe a pretty noticeable streak mark on my dashboard that wasn't even touched. And they dont even clean the cup holders??? The people in the pink shirts "inspect" the car before letting me know my car is ready after 2.5 hours & clearly they don't know what a clean car even looks like. Whoever the manager/owner is needs to be the one to inspect the cars because the employees don't care or aren't trained well enough. Step up, Management!!!! Honestly, Alamo Hand Car Wash is a waste of money and time. Take your car somewhere else.
