  • My friend and I just stepped out a minute ago. Immediately upon entering it felt overbearing, the two people who greeted us were way too friendly where it felt uncomfortable. We asked if we could get drinks to go but sit there for a minute and the guy blocked the door and made a joke about us not being able to leave which was discomforting since we were the only people there. It was two of us, and the woman handed us only one menu. She tried to explain to my friend and I, who know plenty about tea, about how tea works. She gave us a few samples and explained how it will taste differently once it's sweetened and cooled down by ice... as if we didn't know. It was patronizing, annoying, and so pretentious. You didn't invent tea so don't talk to us like we are children. Would've given it a shot but the samples really didn't impress us, had a cheap flavor, so we left for another tea spot.
