Pretty decent spot. The flat whites aren't bad but a bit weak on the espresso flavour.
The cold brew was very weak in terms of flavour but it was cheaper than other places I've been to, so I didn't feel too ripped off. I think it was close to $3 which is pretty cheap. Unfortunately the flavour left a lot to be desired. It was kind of like water that was brown. I'm wondering if they just use lighter beans all around.
They have no space to sit. Another "coffee pocket" approach. Good thing Trinity Bellwoods is across the street so you can sit in the park if you wanted to sit.
Service is friendly. I will likely hit up White Squirrel next door way more often than this spot though, as I prefer their bolder espresso, but this place is definitely worth a try. Many people love the Sam James coffee shops, so definitely give it a go!
