  • I have been going to Sal's since it has opened. They also own Bella Luna which is also a fantastic place to eat. Their Sausage Pepper and Onion Sub Sandwich is the bomb! In my old neighborhood I lived in, in Maryvale, my neighbor was from New York and she would make the exact same sandwich. Brings back a lot of old memories. There for a while Sal's had some very unfriendly service and the food took a turn for the worse. After I think from a lot of customer dissatisfaction it has turned around again and back to normal.
