  • I found this studio by way of their one month unlimited groupon. This included both Barre and Pilates reformer classes. I really had no interest in barre (Booty? Really? Bad name...) and therefore this review is only of the Pilates portion of the classes. First, this place isn't exactly easy to find. The way I found it was by reading yelp reviews (Thanks, Maria!). Otherwise, you will be lost looking for it, not knowing it is essentially rented space inside Rapid Rehab in the back of a strip mall-ish area. Once you know where it is, the actual Pilates room is really well done. It is light and airy with good mirroring. The shared spaces with Rapid Rehab are clean and light and the reception people are pleasant. Second, there are no classes on Sundays. There is at least one class every other day of the week, making most classes full or near full. I ended up on waitlists about once a week. This was aggravating as THEY canceled often leaving the unlimited package just taking a hit. And I am not referring to a cancelation due to a holiday falling on a class day. I am saying that classes were taken out for other reasons leaving a lack of class coverage. They do not offer regular unlimited packages (outside of the groupon deal), so this may be a limited annoyance. Side note: A student asked during one of our classes if they were going to offer more unlimited packages (or any) and she was shut down cold. They said that they were not looking for volume and that offering more classes wasn't worth it. It was kind of a very flippant answer to a very practical question. Lastly, I would say that some instructors are more friendly than others. Stephanie is friendly and very helpful if you need any modifications. She really knows her stuff from a technical standpoint. Gabriella is amazing and you end up feeling like you have done a solid workout when you finish. I wish she were assigned to more regular classes instead of just covering and instructing the barre portion. I would be willing to pay the regular price of classes for that. Jessica is really dismissive if you need modifications or have questions. She can often can be seen sitting at the side of the room on her phone or heard gossiping with private clients. I learned to avoid her classes altogether. There was mention of the schedule expanding, so I will keep looking for more Gabriella and Stephanie. This place has a lot of promise but frankly, they simply offer too few classes and the ones they do have are always full. Bottom line.
