I had such a fun time at this restaurant!! Starting from the moment we walked in the door I knew it was going to be a dinner I wouldn't soon forget. I was greeted with a kiss on the hand and an elaborate welcome which included a comment jokingly to my boyfriend that they usually don't let men come with such beautiful women but they would make an exception this once. I heard him say the same thing to the next couple coming in, but it was still a fun way to start the evening. Also, they have a dessert cart with a horn on it that was honked as we were led to our table. It sounds cheesy, I know! But it was fun and I couldn't stop smiling the entire evening.
As we sat down we were instructed that there were dance lessons going on in the bar and we should feel free to join. Although we didn't join, we have been discussing how much fun it looked like the people were having and that we should go back soon to dance.
As for the food, it was very good. My boyfriend had the osso bucco which was fabulous. I had pan seared chilean sea bass. It was a lot of food which I couldn't stop myself from eating so by the time we left I felt like I needed to be rolled out. It was topped with mussles and clams which were cooked to perfection. The creamy tomato sauce was so good I was soaking it up with bread so I didn't miss a drop.
I can't wait to go back to Villa Antonio. And hopefully this next time I'll hit up the dance floor!
