  • What a lovely Mounds! I've visited quite a few Mounds Pet Food locations in Wisconsin -- most often the Janesville one as well as the Stoughton Rd. Madison one. This Sun Prairie Mounds is new, clean, and has helpful, friendly staff. I visited this Mounds since I was in the area one day and my dog was running low on dog food. The staff girl at the front was friendly, and I enjoyed my shopping experience. Near the back of the store is a built-in cat room where you can see cats that are up for adoption. The cats have a window to see into the store as well as a window to see to the outdoors. I thought this was a great setup for the kitties! Definitely a step above the Stoughton Rd. Mounds. (See my Yelp review for that location.) If you're anywhere near the east side of Madison and need pet supplies, this Mounds in Sun Prairie is absolutely worth a stop.
