Here are the "negatives":
The food is average; better than Denny's but not deserving of 5 stars or (omg) the "#1 vegas restaurant" on trip advisor.
For example, the over hyped french toast is just standard egg bread french toast. What makes it disappointing is that they serve it with Land O' Lakes "48% Fresh Buttery Taste Spread." I prefer butter. Any breakfast place that warrants 4 or 5 stars should serve real butter. Also, they dont have real maple syrup but serve the corn syrup based maple flavored stuff. Again, I guess most people are OK with margarine and corn syrup, but I dont care for it and I dont think that makes me a food snob or a "foodie."
The hash browns were cold in the middle and bland; barely crisp.
The hot tea (this is admittedly a nit pick) was just a cup of hot water (eg no little metal pot for a second cup) and a tea bag. And $2.25--no bargain.
The eggs and bacon and toast were fine. Standard fare.
My friend's omelette was average.
Maybe the gravy and biscuits are excellent, but we didn't try them.
"Pros":
Friendly staff and good prices.
Bottom line: This place isn't worth going out of your way for and certainly isn't 5 stars.
