I've never been to Best Buy before let alone any in Calgary but I do remember this particular location when it was just Future Shop. Ive heard stories from friends that some employees are complete dicks, pardon my language, because they work majority on commission on top of their hourly rate but to me I think these guys are humble.
Today's visit was a grab and go. I know what I was looking for, grabbed it, paid and left. I was only greeted by two employees, the door greeter and the cashier. I had passed by at least 2 other employees who didn't even say a word and just walked passed me as if I wasn't there. So how would you make commission if you pretend you don't see a customer? I don't think standing and waiting for a customer would get your dollars up but then again IMO since I know what's it like to work in a commission based environment
