| - One of the reasons that I really like TOT is the waiters. We all know that Thai food is spicy - but at TOT they give you little jars of extra spicy sauce you can add to your dishes. While taking our order, our waiter stopped mid sentence, jaw dropped, when he noticed the just-vacated table behind ours, with the jars completely empty. "OMG, I just filled those up! SOMEbody's going to be in the bathroom ALL NIGHT." haha - yes, i'm 12 and think that potty jokes are funny. But really? Most waiters at Asian restaurants are really straightlaced and polite - this guy, totally hilarious!
Anyways. My other reason for liking this place, bathroom humor aside, is the food. It is really good. Now, I know that everyone likes the Tohm Yahm Goong soup, but that stuff is HECKA sour. Yes, i know it's supposed to be (since it's Thai style hot and sour soup), but I think the Gai Tohm Khah would have been a little more palatable, since it has coconut milk in it. Aside from the Tohm Yahm soup, I haven't met a dish here that I didn't like.
Good noodle dishes - aside from everyone's favorite, Pad Thai, the Guayteaw Graprao (spicy flat rice noodles with meat) is really good... you know... actually, any of the noodle dishes (#s 54-57 on the menu) are really good. The curries are all tasty, especially the Panang.
And for $8-9 a dish, very affordable. Look for a buy one get one 1/2 off coupon in the Entertainment book (or maybe you bring the Entertainment card...).
