| - We received an Amazon gift card for Christmas and ordered a Technivorm Moccamaster coffee maker from amazon.com on 27 Dec 17 with a Prime delivery date on 29 Dec 17. Here we are on Wednesday, 3 Jan 18 and still no package. When I checked with OnTrac tracking, it shows that:
Thursday, December 28, 10:44am, package arrived at carrier facility in Sparks, NV
Friday, December 29, 8:12am, package arrived at carrier facility Kennewick, WA
Friday, December 29, 2:20pm, package arrived at carrier facility, Kennewick, WA
Tuesday, January 2, 4:49pm, package arrived at carrier facility, Boise, ID
No movement from Friday to Tuesday.
I called amazon customer service and was politely told there was nothing they could do about the delivery and offered 1 month of prime membership for my frustration. I'm not satisfied with trying to be pacified by an $8.25, 1 month Prime membership and being told over and over again "I'm sorry". The Amazon CS rep them connected me to OnTrac shipping where I was told the package was routed to the incorrect carrier facility and the new delivery date is now tomorrow, 4 Jan 18. What was supposed to be a two day delivery, has now turned into a 8 day delivery from the order date. This is completely unacceptable. If the package was routed incorrectly, then OnTrac should have not let the package sit for 4 days in Washington without doing anything. After realizing the package was delivered to the incorrect carrier facility, OnTrac should have shipped it overnight. The Amazon customer service representative continued telling me that the delivery was out of there hands, that OnTrac shipping was to blame, then offered me a $10 plus the one month membership. The customer service rep continued saying there is nothing more Amazon could do for me. Yes there is. Amazon, you are the largest online retailer on the planet, when a contracted shipping company has made a mistake, you, Amazon, make OnTrac fix this in a timely manner. I understand that Monday was a holiday, but that was only one day out of the 8 days since I placed the order for a 2 day Prime delivery. Amazon customer service, quit saying "I'm sorry" and "how can we make this ok?". Hold OnTrac accountable for being incapable of delivering packages on time.
