Never had problems with my teeth. Then all of a sudden I had what was described to me as a "pre-cavity"...not yet a full cavity but a spot that COULD turn into a cavity. Was told I really should have it filled because we wouldn't want it to get bad and require a root canal. I was experiencing absolutely no pain in this tooth at the time. Hindsight being 20/20, I really wish I would've gotten a second opinion because I reluctantly had the tooth filled and the filling was bad. My tooth was never right after that and for 7 months I experienced bouts of extreme tooth pain. I went back 2-3 times to have it looked at and was given multiple different excuses..."the filling and bite were too high", "sometimes it takes months for the filling to settle", "you must be a tooth grinder", etc. Eventually the tooth did get infected and I was in immense pain...the infection spread over the whole side of my face. And now I needed a root canal and a crown. So in the end, a tooth that was giving me no problems whatsoever was "fixed" which resulted in months of pain, a massive tooth infection, a root canal and crown to repair, and $600 out of my pocket. Never going back there!!
